Best $10 phone for kids? (Using free plan OFC)

This phone can be found on ebay from $10 shipped. add a charger and that will go up to $12. Configure ringplus and you just have an awesome phone so you can stay in touch with your kids!

VOIP vs Network

Ringplus the service I use uses sprints network for calls when availible. it also can use wifi for breathtaking call quality. Freedompops call quality was spotty at best. but ringplus was always audible and had only a little lag. Overall I think its better not to be limited to just VOIP, instead use a combination of both :)

60 day Ringplus Service Review

Today I will be reviewing Ringplus. This is at the 2 month mark.

I have noticed that I get low bars sometimes, but I generally have a lot of coverage here in the pittsburgh area. I tried in lancaster PA, as well as other locations. 4g data speeds are snappy, and calls have only a little lag.

The ads. Ads play everytime you call someone. You can choose what you want to hear etc, but you get used to it, I chose to listen to music, and it played songs that you hear on the radio.

The plan. I chose the truly free plan, it doesn't have a lot of minutes, but it gets the job done.
